Description: A pair of Telia rumal still joined. The border all around is black with white check lines. Designs in 3 rows inter spread the black border. Remark – The central field is made of red and pink coloured yarns which are tied and dyed prior to setting the yarn on the loom. The process is known as Ikata work prevalent in Gujarat in the form of Patala, in Hyderabad in form of Telia and in Orissa in the process of Kataki. In addition to the Ikata, it has been embroidered with white thread in the form of floral butas and butis.
