Academic Events

The Academic Session of Jnana-Pravaha commences from 1st August every year with the annual feature \"Radiance of Kashi\" under which a seminar or special lecture is organized on one aspect of the ancient city of Varanasi. The academic activities thereon continue throughout the year on various streams of Indian Art and Culture. These events include International Seminars, National Seminars, Advanced Study Courses, Workshops, Special Lectures, Memorial Lectures, Exhibitions, Youth Service, Shastrartha (Academic Debate), Higher Research Projects, Survey and Documentation, etc. Performances of Shrauta Yaga (Vedic Yajna), Sanskrit Drama and Musical Recitals also form part of academic pursuits. Some special programmes are also organized from time to time to cater to the needs of ardent visitors and serve the purpose of Indian Culture. Some of the academic events are arranged in collaboration with other organizations also engaged in similar affairs.
