There are a variety of programmes organized from time to time, which are not only educative and informative, but also inspiring and entertaining. These exhibit variegated colours and wide range of culture and heritage that India possess and which needs proper attention of the Indian citizens to preserve and protect these from vanishing from the scene forever. Some events are held to mark some special occasion or achievement of the Institution.
The foreign participants of course on Spoken Sanskrit staged a Sanskrit drama Gurubhakti.

Students and teachers of Indraprastha College, New Delhi performed two plays, viz. Kumarasambhava and Meghadutam, under the direction of Shri Parnab Mukherjee.
The main theme was Kalidasa as seen by Shri Aurobindo.

Different styles of Veda-Patha (Vedic Recitation), as prevalent in various parts of India, were presented by several learned scholars.

Prof. Shrinivas Rath from Ujjain was the Chief Guest and Prof. Rajendra Mishra, Vice-Chancellor, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University presided over the function.
Other participants were Dr. Kamla Pandey, Dr. Kapil Dev Pandey, Pt. Manudeva Bhattacharya, Dr. Kamlesh Jha, Dr. Raja Ram Shukla, Dr. H. P. Adhikari, Prof. K. K. Sharma and Prof. R. C. Sharma.
The Jnana-Pravaha Museum (Kalamandapa) was inaugurated in the new building.
Shri M. C. Pande (Lucknow) and Prof. Anjan Chakraverty (Varanasi) rendered valuable services and suggestions in setting up the Museum
