Special Event

There are a variety of programmes organized from time to time, which are not only educative and informative, but also inspiring and entertaining. These exhibit variegated colours and wide range of culture and heritage that India possess and which needs proper attention of the Indian citizens to preserve and protect these from vanishing from the scene forever. Some events are held to mark some special occasion or achievement of the Institution.

Honour of 'Five Gems' of Kashi for their outstanding contribution in divergent fields, viz. Vedamurti Krishnamurti Ghanpathi (Enriching the Vedic Tradition), Dr. Bhanu Shankar Mehta (Being the Authority on Kashi-Culture), Prof. Rai Anand Krishna (Remarkable Contribution in Indian Art, History and Culture), Smt. Girija Devi (Spreading the Music Tradition of Kashi all over the Globe) and Shri Kashinath Vishwakarma (Specialist of Traditional Metal-casting technique, i.e. Lost-Wax Process)

Release of three books, viz. Shilpa-Sahasradala (Vol.I) authored by Dr. N. P. Joshi & Dr. A. L. Srivastava, Ashoka : The King and The Man authored by Prof. K. K. Thaplyal and Jnana-Pravaha : Fifteen Glorious Years edited by Shri Jayabrato Chatterjee
